DOOM: THE SCREENPLAY!

This isn't going to be like most of the stories posted here. Mainly because since I was really bored and wanted to try something new, I wrote it like a screenplay. Also, this isn't an entirely original idea. I took a (hopefully) purposefully bad fanfiction, named DOOM: Reprecussions of Evil, and made it my own.

For refrence purposes, original story here. All rights reserved, Peter Chimera, and other legal stuff.

A lone marine is illuminated only by a flickering light above him. His eyes are covered by an oversized pair of goggles, revealing nothing about his appearance.
JOHN
I tried to warn them. Colonel Johnson ignored everything I said, preferring his blind ignorance over the cold hard truth. He had years to prepare the defenses against this demon horde, and because of his apathy, I now have to go in and clean the base up myself.
John’s face is suddenly illuminated by a pocket lighter, lighting up a cigar. The sound of guns cocking fills the world, and John looks slowly around the room. His narration begins again.
JOHN
There hasn’t been a day in my fourteen years of service that I don’t dwell on the last thing I told my father before I enlisted. We used to go to the space port, to watch the ship’s roar as they ascended to the heavens. One day, I told my dad that I wanted to go into space, to fight the demons that plagued our cargo freighters. My father looked over at me, and like he had said countless times before, ‘No. How many times will I have to tell you? I won’t lose my only son to those bastards.’ I had stopped believing him years ago, so I joined the Marines right under his nose.

His radio suddenly crackles to life, and through the snow sounds, a voice can be heard.
COLONEL JOHNSON
This is Johnson. You must get out there and fight those demons!
John picks up his rifle, and with a bright flash, he destroys the nearest wall, and runs right through the new hole, guns blazing.
DEMON
WE CAN’T STOP HIM! HE’S NOT HUMAN!
A large demon appears, and for a second, and the everything goes silent for a moment. John is still holding off the demon hordes by himself, when suddenly the demon speaks.
CYBERDEMON
Damn it, how the hell is that marine even holding off the horde? Looks like if I want anything done here, I have to get my hands dirty.
The sound of gunfire slowly returns, as the cyberdemon loads his rocket launcher.
CYBERDEMON
Heh. It’s been a long time since I’ve had to crush a human skull myself. Let’s hope he doesn’t die too easily.
John looks up, and sees the cyberdemon aiming his rocket launcher at him. John jumps to the side, and fills the entire wall behind the cyberdemon with plasma and lead. The fight goes on, with no decisive victor, when suddenly the ceiling collapses, creating a massive cloud of dust that obscures all vision. The camera slowly pans around the room, and after a few seconds, it finds and focuses on John, who is half buried under the rubble.
JOHN
NO! I’m not done yet!
John vainly fires some shots off at the pile of rubble he’s under.

JOHN
Damn it!
John reaches for his radio, which is just an inch too far away from his fingertips. After a few seconds of grunting and reaching, John manages to grab the radio.
JOHN
Colonel Jonson, I am trapped under a pile of rubble, with the entire demon horde just out of sight. I can hear all of them, tearing at the walls! I need reinforcements!
JONSON
Negative John, the only enemy reading is-
Colonel Jonson pauses in shock.
JONSON
This can’t be right. John, the only enemy reading is right on top of you!
John frantically looks around, trying to see any other signs of movement. Thinking he’s seeing a demon, John shoots near a ceiling light. As the light flickers on and off, John’s body begins to alternate between how we’ve seen him the entire movie, and a monstrous thing that looks similar to the demons that attacked, but with its flesh rotting off.
